Values1. To make life easier - so that you can put more energy into what really matters to you and focus less on the 'how' to do things. 2. For developers - To enable you to use your time more effectively - and thus have more of it to do the things you chose. Be more productive and creative, have more quality time. 3. To put something back into society - One way that we will be doing this is with our 'Africa Project' that you can read about below. By using our products and tools you will be directly contributing towards this. A short history We have been in business since 1987, building bespoke computer systems and Web development tools. As the early Internet emerged into public consciousness we were there.Since 1995 we have had a Web presence designing and building tools and systems that have become progressively easier to use and maintain. We have worked with and created systems for a number of large, high profile companies. You can find out about this here. During this time we continued to develop our skills and tools. We have reached a point now where we are able to bring this expertise to the customer and developer and enable others to benefit from these years of experience. Africa Project
Mike spent time living in Africa with local people and was inspired by their positive and lively energy. He met some very creative people with a lot of potential. He felt that they should have the opportunity to develop this so that they could help themselves. Mike decided that the best way he could help would be to get involved in encouraging and developing grassroots local business and enterprise within Africa. This is made possible by investing 40% of gross profit from the sale of CBiS products into the Africa project. By using our products and services you are contributing to this. Ethic We wish to make you freer, with more time to spend on the things you love. Our software is open source and standards based. We actively encourage developers to use it, change it and develop it according to their need. It has been evolving for 10 years and we wish it to continue in that way. |
